in. Studio + Cafe was founded in 2018 by Lee Cumberlidge and Elena Vereker, with a vision to build a work environment where small companies, creative businesses and individuals
could make great things happen.
Enhanced by boutique light-filled spaces and design, businesses are supported, and ideas activated through a network of like-minded innovators.

Located on the edge of the city at the east end of Pirie Street, the boutique serviced workspace is yours so you can develop your vision and expand your business, get inspired and collaborate with other creative and commercial thinkers.

Founders

Elena Vereker +
Lee Cumberlidge

More than creating a great workspace, founders of in. Studio + Cafe,
Lee Cumberlidge and Elena Vereker are place makers. They understand the power of working collaboratively and have created a working environment that is productive, creative and inspiring. Their award-winning national company Insite Arts, of which they are co-directors, has its home at in.Studio.  With a background in producing major events and festivals around the country they have brought together components of business, community, environment and culture that supports and inspires
in. Studio members.

Elena is a director and creative producer of large scale, site-specific events, image-based and aerial performance. Co-founder and Director of Insite Arts, Elena graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 1997. She has worked with companies and festivals in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.​

Lee is a producer and arts event manager who since graduating with a degree in Arts and Cultural Tourism from Flinders University has developed 20 years experience in the performing arts producing large scale festivals and touring hundreds of productions by Australian and international artists in theatre, dance and music. He is a founding director of Insite Arts, a co-director of Arts Projects Australia (WOMAD), and co -founder of Illuminate Adelaide producing a range of projects, international collaborations and large scale arts events.  

Our Community

Community and collaboration are the foundations of our culture at in. Studio. We offer a way to build relationships based on shared interests, creativity and knowledge. Our members are the heart of our space. We have a number of independent professionals that work together and separately who come to work, develop, innovate, and collaborate.
